Witches? I have a friend who is a witch,

and I love her dearly. Witches are kind and caring people! My friend is a registered nurse, works a night shift, and runs her own therapeutic massage business by day. She is skilled in the use of aromatherapy, Bowen and other massage techniques, and uses crystals and herb-scented candles in her therapy.

She works part time as a day nurse at a Catholic boy’s school, and, in what little spare time she has left, does a lot of voluntary work at Red Cross and other charities. She teaches meditation free, and is skilful in both traditional and alternative health practices.

A few years ago I had a great personal tragedy in my life. I fell into a great big hole, and my friend pulled me out, straightened me up, and set me walking down the road of life again. We have been fast friends ever since.

Even though we now live hundreds of kilometers away from each other, we ensure that we get together every couple of months for a meal or a walk on the beach!

That’s what witches are like, caring and wonderful people with an alternative view about life and religion.

They believe that evil is against all ethical and moral standards, they do NOT worship Satan, and they wear clothes of all colors, not just ritual black! They come from all races and professions, use spells that are thoughts, projections or prayers, use wands to direct healing energies, and, because they work closely with Nature, are very concerned about environmental issues.

Now that you know what witches are really like, perhaps you know one yourself!

As one has said, “The best way that I can possibly think of to learn about Witchcraft is to live it. Some of us may be limited on space or you may be in the closet. I am going to give you a few tips on ways to bring yourself closer to nature.

Plant an herb garden or any type of garden and enjoy the aromas of the flowers and herbs. Take walks in the woods and just appreciate what has been given to us. Recycle your waste. Sit underneath the moon and gaze at its beauty. Meditate and learn from your journeys. Wake each morning and light a candle or a stick of incense to let the Goddess and God know you appreciate them.

Contrary to popular belief you do not have to spend a lot of money or have some elaborate set up to practice The Craft of the Wise; this is NOT what it’s about. Nature has given us all that we need to lead a magickal life so enjoy it and have fun on your journeys.” End quote. Now I’m sure you will know someone like this!

So, follow me, fly on a journey into cyberspace, and find out more about witches and witchcraft, and other magickal arts. Click on the links below, to learn about the art of witchcraft! Happy witching, Patrick
