Our Herbal Teapot Markets!

We are very sorry, but we can no longer atttend the Caboolture Markets with our herbal teas. Market management have done the wrong thing by us, and thrown us off our site, a site we have held for over 10 years. We missed a few January and February markets due to wet weather, and management decided we didnt need the site any more (without contacting us in any way) and gave our Market site away. The weird thing is we were on the site a fortnight previously, and noone said anything to us then.

So we sincerely apologise to our Caboolture Market customers, but we still do Yandina Markets on Saturdays and Northey St Organic Markets every second and fourth Sunday, and every first and third Sunday of the Month we are at the Redcliffe Jetty Markets. (weather permiting)

But dont forget we have all our herbal teas for purchase on our three online shops at http://www.home-herb-garden.com/buyherbalteas.html (copy and paste) or go there now and we still do mail orders, just contact us by email.... patrick "at" netaccess.com.au or phone me on 0408 711344 or 0411 554518. Patrick

We also stock some quality organic green and black teas. Note that our prices may be subject to change without notice, and that our herbal teas are all organic, wildcrafted, or grown chemical free.

Yandina

In our view, Yandina Market is one of the best Markets on the Sunshine Coast. It is held at the Sportsground at Yandina, and plenty of parking is usually available. There are all the usual local farmer products, plus lots of good quality secondhand stuff for sale. Its held every Saturday, rain or fine. There are a couple of food outlets at the Markets, and Yandina township has a few very nice cafes as well. Yandina was a timber town, cedar, beech and native pine were the first timbers logged, then the hardwoods..

The name, Yandina, is derived from the Aboriginal words, yan meaning "go", and dinna "go on foot". The area around Yandina Creek was the earliest to be known by this name. A rich heritage of Aboriginal names abounds in the area, Ninderry, Maroochy, Dunethin, Wappa and Kulangoor. Yandina is the oldest town in Maroochy Shire. The first land selection was in 1868, proclamation of the town was 1870 and the town survey was 1871. Surveyor William Fryar's recommendation spoke of the navigable river and the supply of fresh water. The site was half way between the established towns of Caboolture and Gympie. Yandina was to be a metropolis, but the town was slow to develop until the railway was opened in 1891.

Redcliffe Jetty Markets

Redliffe is a very historic seaside town, only 40 minutes or so North of Brisbane. The City of Redcliffe has a population of approximately 50,000 people. Whether it be wining and dining, live theatre, picnics, boating, swimming, skydiving, fishing, scuba diving, windsurfing and other aquatic activities - Redcliffe's got it covered! Settlement Cove Lagoon is another one of Redcliffes great attractions. It is located in the heart of Redcliffe and is a tropical water wonderland overlooking Moreton Bay, and includes an amazing free public saltwater swimming pool there too! A whalewatching boat leaves from the jetty in the whalewatching season, and runs trips to Moreton Island.

Above, have your Sunday breakfast with a view like this at Redcliffe Jetty Markets!

The Redcliffe Jetty Markets are held in the main street, and attract thousands of eager market visitors every Sunday. They run from early morning until 2 pm. See us at the Herbal Teapot there every 1st and 3rd Sunday morning.
